Hatha, Vinyasa or Yin: choosing your first style
The three styles people mix up most differ in pace, not difficulty.

The question we hear most is "which class should I start with?" It depends on the pace you enjoy.
Hatha: held poses, time to listen
One pose at a time, with time for explanation — ideal for learning foundations.
Vinyasa: moving with the breath
Poses link together and you warm up quickly — best once the main poses feel familiar.
Yin: slow and still
Floor poses held for several minutes, quiet and slow — open to everyone.
If you're injured or pregnant, check with your doctor first and always tell your teacher.
